Pillr collaborated with Par Taps to create a visual campaign for the limited edition Seaspray and Forest Mist finishes. The project focused on showcasing the textures and mood of each colour through an artistic lens rather than traditional product marketing.
This campaign was never meant to be about the tapware itself. The challenge was to create an emotional experience that captured the character of both finishes and positioned them as pieces of design art rather than hardware.
The visuals needed to tell a story through movement, light, and texture, expressing how each colour interacts with its environment. Seaspray needed to feel airy, bright, and coastal, while Forest Mist had to evoke depth, calm, and natural balance.
It was also one of Pillr’s first animated 3D product render projects, requiring new workflows that combined cinematic storytelling with precision product modelling.
Each scene was conceptually designed and curated for the release. Pillr developed two unique visual worlds that reflected the identity of each finish while remaining cohesive as a pair.
Using a blend of detailed material simulation, dynamic lighting, and abstract composition, the team created an atmosphere that felt artistic and immersive. Every texture, reflection, and light shift was choreographed to highlight how each finish behaves under different conditions.
The animations were produced entirely in 3D and designed to run seamlessly across digital platforms, ensuring that both motion and stills could be used for campaign rollout and brand storytelling.
The final visuals delivered an artistic representation of Seaspray and Forest Mist that elevated the perception of Par Taps as a design-focused brand. The animations blended technical execution with emotion, creating a memorable story around two finishes that became more than surface treatments.
For Pillr, this project represented a creative turning point. It demonstrated how product visualisation can go beyond realism to become an expression of design and artistry.
