In 2022 and 2023, Pillr collaborated with Par Taps to create a suite of hero renders for their new website. This project marked one of our earlier large-scale visual campaigns and remains a defining moment in shaping our approach to product storytelling.
Par Taps needed a series of hero images that would represent the brand’s tapware collection with creativity and depth. Each product required its own unique setting that reflected the tone and style of the individual range, while maintaining a unified brand presence across the entire site.
The goal was to design scenes that felt aspirational and premium without relying on repetition or standard product presentation. Every image needed to express the essence of the tap itself while feeling part of one consistent visual identity.
Pillr worked closely with Par Taps to conceptualise and design each set from the ground up. Every scene was hand-sketched, inspired by architecture, texture, and form before being brought to life digitally.
Each tap was given a distinct environment that matched its design language and material finish. The settings were designed to feel immersive but focused, allowing the product to be the hero of the composition.
All renders were created in 3ds Max, chosen for its precision and flexibility in material mapping, lighting, and scene composition. The combination of creative direction, detailed modelling, and tone control resulted in a set of visuals that captured both craftsmanship and brand personality.
The final hero renders became the foundation of the Par Taps website identity. Each image communicated the individuality of the tapware collections while maintaining a consistent brand tone across the platform.
The result was a timeless visual library that balanced realism with design expression, allowing Par Taps to stand apart from competitors through storytelling and detail.
This project marked an important step for Pillr. It reflected the studio’s early commitment to blending design sensibility with technical execution and remains one of the works we are most proud of.
